Youth

Faith Formation at the parish and school for those in grades K-12 is a continuation of and in addition to the faith formation provided by the parents and families. We are here to support parents in their roles as first catechists of their children. ​
High School Youth Ministry for grades 9-12
meets almost every 2nd and 4th Sunday a month.
The next meeting for HSYM is:
Sunday, January 26, 5:45 to 7:15 pm in room FD2.  

Middle School Youth Ministry for grades 6-8 
meets almost every 2nd and 4th Sunday a month.  
The next meeting for MSYM is:
Sunday, January 26, 5:45 to 7:15 pm in room FD4.

Our vision is to build youth up in Christ by giving them a safe, healthy place to have fun, forming their minds, and immersing them in the love of God.

ICYC25
Idaho Catholic Youth Conference

  • Open to all high school students.
  • We leave St Francis parking lot early Friday morning, March 7 and return late afternoon on Sunday, March 9.
  • Cost is $240 per person and includes ICYC registration, tshirt, travel, lodging, and all meals.

Vacation Bible School 2025
Watch for 2025 dates and registration.
Families with Children preparing to receive a sacrament either this year or next are asked to attend 3 Parish Family Faith Events. These events bring families together at the church outside of Sunday or Holy Day Mass.  Families can share their experiences at their interviews.
One of the important duties in these uncertain times is our obligation to protect our children and youth and keep them safe. The Diocese of Baker requires all children and youth of the parish, from Kindergarten through 12th grade, to be taught safe environment lessons each year.

High School Graduates blessing Mass
2025 High school graduates and family and friends are invited to attend the Mass at 5:00 pm on Saturday, May 31, 2025 so the parish can celebrate you and send you with a blessing.
