St. Francis of Assisi - Ministerio Hispano

El Ministerio Hispano existe para dar apoyo e información a aquellos católicos cuyo primer idioma es el español. Se extiende a las familias católicas en necesidad y a las familias que se encuentran en crisis o en situaciones difíciles. El Ministerio Hispano también ayuda a todos a una mejor comprensión de su fe católica a través de la catequesis.
El Ministerio Hispano provee materiales de adoración en español y ofrece sesiones de catequesis para adultos y familias durante todo el año. Es la tarea de este ministerio organizar recaudaciones de fondos durante todo el año que ayudarían a financiar presentaciones, retiros y materiales catequéticos. El objetivo del Ministerio Hispano es ayudar a las familias de habla hispana a que se sientan bienvenidas a la Iglesia y a ayudar a construir una parroquia integrada. |

Las Posadas:
December 16th to 23rd every night at 7:00 pm
27th Street Church Community Center.
The 17th, 18th, and 19th will be in the Narthex.
Las Posadas, a religious festival celebrated in Mexico and some parts of the United States on the nine days leading up to Christmas. The celebration will take place in the Community Center each evening, except on the 17th, 18th, and 19th, when it will be relocated to the narthex. Las Posadas commemorates the journey that Joseph and Mary made from Nazareth to Bethlehem in search of a safe refuge where Mary could give birth to the baby Jesus. When they were unable to find lodging in Bethlehem, Joseph and Mary were forced to seek shelter in a stable, where the Christ Child was born.
