Speakers
Fr. Sibi Poulose was born in Perumbavoor City, in the Ernakulam District in Kerala, India, on October 7, 1981. He joined the seminary after high school and, after priestly formation in various parts of India, he was ordained a priest on April 23, 2009 in the Catholic Diocese of Bijnor. Soon after his ordination, he worked in various parishes and institutes as a missionary priest. He has organized meetings, seminars, workshops, and training programs for students and teachers, as well as catechism for youth.

Fr. Jose Thomas Mudakodiyil was ordained a priest in 2002 in his home parish in India inspired by St. John Bosco. He studied Theology, Philosophy, English Literature, and holds a masters in Psychology from Madras University. He is currently pastor at St. Francis of Assisi here in Bend. Father Jose expresses that, “it has been a joy to be a priest. Life as a priest has given me great satisfaction and fulfillment. My greatest joy is to be with the people God has entrusted to me, accompanying them in their journey of faith and being with them in all the significant moments of their lives.”

Sr. Ignacia Carrillo, FMA has a Bachelor of Science degree from Angelo State University in her home town of San Angelo, Texas, in 1991, and earned her Master of Arts Degree in Catholic School Leadership from the University of San Francisco in 2008. She has been a consecrated religious for 27 years. Sr. Ignacia has been teaching at St. Francis Catholic School for four years. She will be speaking about “Joyful Prayer.”
