STUDENT VOCALISTS GO VIRTUAL!
Four St. Francis School students participated in the first “Virtual Choir Festival” event hosted by PUERI CANTORES--an international student choral organization of the Roman Catholic Church. The mission of Pueri Cantores is to transform the lives of children through sacred music, deepen their faith and cultivate fellowship. School students Mason Crowder (3rd grade), Joannie Walsh (4th grade), Benjamin Fessler (4th grade), and Estrella Ramirez (7th grade) spent time after school learning the music with the help of Music Director Stephanie Mowery. During the Festival event, students “rehearsed” with a guest conductor online via Zoom and then created a virtual choir video along with other singers from across the nation. These young vocalists and their families should be applauded for their efforts to keep singing and sacred music alive in our Church. Thank them when you see them! https://youtu.be/lzL58Rnz5G4 |
