Annual Stewardship Campaign 2025

​Dear Parishioners,

Every year, our Annual Stewardship Campaign invites each of us to reflect on the blessing God has bestowed upon us and to prayerfully return a portion of those blessings to the Lord.

Our 2025 Stewardship theme, Pray, Invite, Accompany, reflects our parish Vision Statement:
            Empowered by the Holy Spirit, St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church aspires to be a vibrant and welcoming community of disciples committed to worship, grow, and serve. We invite all to a personal encounter with Jesus Christ, accompany them on their journey, and send them forth to be His witnesses.

As Catholic Christians, Jesus calls us to discipleship and the natural response of a disciple is stewardship. As stewards, we recognize that all we have and are and will be is a gift from God, and we gratefully return a portion of our time, talent, and treasure back to God. We return our time in the form of prayer, thanking God for those things in our lives for which we are thankful. We return our talent in the form of service in ministry or other volunteer opportunities in the Church, recognizing the charisms God has given us. And we return our treasure in the form of weekly, monthly, or annual tithing to the Church in gratitude for our financial blessings.

Please review the enclosed materials and prayerfully consider how you can best support this year’s Stewardship Campaign by contributing to the Offertory and/or Scholarship Fund in whatever way your means allow. The Offertory provides the funds necessary for the operating expenses of the parish and the Scholarship Fund invests in our future by ensuring that a quality Catholic Education is accessible to all families in Bend.

I ask you to please complete and return the response card by mail, or drop it at the parish office or in the collection basket at Mass. This year we have added an online option for completing the card at stfrancisbend.org/stewardship. Please complete and return the card even if you are not changing your current giving amount or if you are unable to give financially at this time.
