Rite of Sending
Sunday, Feb 22nd
St Francis 27th Street Church
7:30 AM Mass.
The Rite of Sending is a formal ceremony that takes place at our parish for those participating in the OCIA. This serves as a "bridge" between the local parish community and the regional Bishop. Essentially, our parish is publicly declaring that you are spiritually prepared and are "sending" you to the Bishop for the next major step, the Rite of Election.
Please reply to Janet in the cc about your availability to attend and any guests would like to invite.
