Your Own Prayer Life
Everyone can have their own prayer cenacle, a group coming together to
pray for all your own needs, the needs of friends, the needs of the
Parish, for vocations & sustaining the vocations we already have, for the
needs of the Church, our Country & the world. The home is a small domestic
church with the father of the family being the spiritual leader of his
family (the father is linked to Jesus as head of the church as the
authority), the mother, the heart of the family (she is the binding love,
the head & heart are complimentary to one another) & the whole family &
the Church, being the Mystical Body of Christ, with Jesus as its head &
the Blessed Virgin Mary, its heavenly Mother. Remember we are the Bride of
Christ. If you live alone you can invite any number of Saints to join you,
in fact, the entire Communion of Saints, the angels, & the Holy Souls in
Purgatory.
“Whenever two or more on earth agree about anything you pray for, it will
be done for you by my Father in Heaven. For where two or more come
together in My Name, I am there in their midst.”
(Matthew 18: 19 –20)
Please commit to prayer even if it is only 10 minutes a day. Never miss
Mass on Sunday & try to come to daily Mass as much as possible. This is
for your own good & the good of all your family members & friends & God
will protect & bless you & them in a very special way. Pray for the
building of our new church & for the spiritual renewal of our Parish. Ask
God that you and your family may be a part of the Holy Family.
