		St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church prides itself on continued growth in God's word! Currently the following educational programs are offered: Sunday Playways to God Religious Education K - 5 (AKA CCD) Middle School High School Adult Faith Formation The Role of Parents The role of parents in religious education is of such importance that it is almost impossible to provide an adequate substitute. Parents have the first responsibility for the education of their children. Through the grace of the sacrament of marriage, parents receive children at an early age into the mysteries of the faith of which they are the "first heralds" for their children. Family catechesis precedes, accompanies, and enriches other forms of instruction in the faith. Parents have the mission of teaching their children to pray and to discover their vocation as Children of God. Has the Holy Spirit moved you to Volunteer?
